I am a cross-functional research leader, data scientist, social-cognitive psychologist and neuroscientist with 15+ years of experience studying human behavior, social impact, technology, and product development. Currently, I am a researcher with Google focused on Search and AI. Prior, I was a research and product-team lead on Meta’s Trust & Safety team. My topical expertise regards product and measurement strategy in areas such as AI, content, growth, and safety. For instance, my work led and guided Facebook’s 3-dot menu design and addition of the “Interested / Not Interested” feature, as well as behavioral nudges to support youth well-being. Having formally and informally served across several functions, my expertise bridges user research, data science, product management, and team leadership. Prior to my work in technology, I was an academic psychologist and neuroscientist specializing in social behavior, attitudes, biases, cognition, and personality. My academic research has been published in peer-reviewed journals such as Nature Human Behaviour, Nature Neuroscience, and PNAS.
